To gaze upon the ruin that once was the stage of entertainment; to witness the fall of the structure that transport us to a time of imagination, of dream; to experience the end, to feel the panic of those who escape from the flames and the darkness that swallows what they consider one of the wonders of the world, the circus.

Based on the book’s title, "And the Hippos were Boiled in Their Tanks" (1944), from the North-American writers William S. Burrohghs and Jack Kerouac, a serie of moments was created, where it is possible to observe the magnificence of fire and ashesas opposed to human fragility.
